Thesis Description

The understanding that learners create meaning by grasping and transforming experience (Kolb, 1984) provides the foundation for the overarching theory of constructivism which is proceduralized by the fluid interaction of the community of inquiry and practical inquiry models (Garrison, Anderson & Archer, 2004). Through the strategic and procedural use of these models, critical thinking skills and dispositions are both called upon and developed. The core of all critical thinking is the proclivity to C.A.R.E.
